Two kinds of clipping

StreamLadder started as a free tool to turn a Twitch clip into a vertical TikTok, with layouts that stack your facecam over gameplay. Paid plans add captions, effects and scheduling (Starter), ClipGPT, which scans whole Twitch and Kick streams for up to 30 clips each (Creator), and 4K export with X posting (Pro).

Vidulk clips any long video from a link or upload, with AI working from the transcript. It is not limited to streams, and its editor adds 65 caption styles, auto-reframe on faces, a hook title card, progress bar, logo and music with ducking.

Pricing

StreamLadder's web pricing page shows prices in local currency. Its US iPhone app lists Starter at $14.99 a month, Creator at $26.99 and Pro at $38.99, with yearly plans from $149.99. The web pricing page says yearly plans give 2 months free.

Vidulk Unlimited is $9.99 a week, $19.99 a month or $179 a year on the web. Credits cost $7 for one video and $19 for ten.

Where StreamLadder is stronger

StreamLadder has a free plan, stream-specific tools such as Twitch emotes, chat and social reactions, montages and a schedule maker, and posting to social accounts. Vidulk has no free clipping, no scheduler and no Twitch-specific overlays. If you live on Twitch or Kick, StreamLadder is purpose-built. If you clip from many sources, try Vidulk at vidulk.com/app.

Who should pick which

Choose StreamLadder if your content is Twitch or Kick clips and you want facecam-over-gameplay layouts, emotes and scheduled posting, especially if the free plan covers you. Choose Vidulk if you want AI to find the moments in long VODs, podcasts or YouTube videos for less than StreamLadder Creator, or if you want a single video for $7.

On Vidulk you can paste a Twitch clip or a long Twitch VOD link, let the AI score the moments, then reframe on faces or show the whole video over a blurred background. Add captions from 65 styles, a hook title card, a progress bar and your logo, and export in up to 4K. Projects sync between the phone apps and the web app, so you can review clips on your phone after a stream.
