Two different tools
CapCut is a general video editor from ByteDance with templates, effects, AI tools and AI video generation. It also has an AI clip maker that cuts a long video into short clips and reframes 16:9 to 9:16. CapCut's page for that tool lists uploads from your device, cloud, Google Drive and Dropbox, not links.
Vidulk is built around clipping. You paste a link or upload, the AI transcribes and scores the moments, and you edit the clips with 65 caption styles, auto-reframe on faces, a hook title card, progress bar, logo and music with ducking.
Pricing
CapCut says prices vary by region, device and promotion. On its US pricing page, Pro is $19.99 a month with 1,200 AI credits, Ultra is $79 a month, and Teams is $12.49 per seat. Its iPhone app also sells a Standard plan at $9.99 a month. Yearly billing is up to 30% off.
Vidulk Unlimited is $9.99 a week, $19.99 a month or $179 a year on the web, with no clipping cap and no AI credits to track. Credits cost $7 for one video or $19 for ten.
Where CapCut is stronger
CapCut has a free plan, desktop apps for Windows and Mac, a large template and effects library, and a much deeper timeline editor. Vidulk has no free clipping, no desktop app (the web app runs in desktop browsers), no stock or B-roll library and no team workspace.
Many creators use both: Vidulk to find and cut the clips from a long video, CapCut for heavy editing afterwards. Try the clipping side at vidulk.com/app.
Who should pick which
Choose CapCut if you want one free app for all kinds of editing, from vlogs to ads, and you are comfortable picking clip moments yourself or with its clip maker. Choose Vidulk if you clip podcasts, streams, interviews or lectures every week and want the AI to transcribe, score and cut them from a pasted link, with captions styled the same way across every clip. Vidulk's presets and its option to copy a style to every clip keep a series consistent.
CapCut's pricing depends on region and device, so check the price in your own account before you subscribe. Vidulk's web prices are $9.99 a week, $19.99 a month or $179 a year; store prices can vary by country.
