Pricing: credits against a flat rate

Opus Clip meters usage in credits that track processing minutes of source video. Starter is $15 a month for 150 credits and is sold monthly only. Pro is $29 a month, or $14.50 a month billed yearly ($174), for 300 credits a month, and unused credits roll over for 2 months.

Vidulk Unlimited costs $9.99 a week, $19.99 a month or $179 a year on the web, with no cap on clipping. If you clip one or two videos a month, Vidulk credits are cheaper still: $7 for one video or $19 for ten, and they never expire. If a video yields no clips, the credit comes back automatically.

Free plans

This is where Opus Clip is better. Its free plan gives 60 credits a month, with a watermark, no editing, and clips that can no longer be exported after 3 days. Vidulk has no free clipping. A free Vidulk account only makes story videos with a small watermark. To clip, you need Unlimited or a credit.

Apps and editing

Opus Clip is a web dashboard with an iPhone app and an Android app. Opus Clip's help center says the Android app, launched in June 2026, has no editor, no B-roll, no brand templates and no scheduling yet, and bills only through Google Play.

Vidulk is one product on iPhone, Android (Google Play and the Amazon Appstore) and the web. The editor is the same everywhere: 65 caption styles, caption timing, 9:16, 1:1, 4:5 and 16:9 with auto-reframe on faces or the whole video over a blurred background, a hook title card, progress bar, logo, color looks, music with ducking, and 720p, 1080p or 4K export. Projects follow the account between phone and web.

What Vidulk does not have

Vidulk has no scheduler or auto-posting, no AI B-roll, no team workspace, no API and no export to Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve. Opus Clip Pro has all of these. If your workflow depends on them, Opus Clip is the better fit.

Who should pick which

Choose Opus Clip if you are a marketer or a team posting daily to several networks and you value scheduling, B-roll and brand templates over price. Choose Vidulk if you are a solo creator, podcaster or streamer who clips a lot and wants one flat price, or who clips now and then and would rather pay $7 a video. Vidulk also suits people who edit on a phone: the iPhone, Android and web apps share one account, so a clip started on a phone can be finished on a laptop.

Switching from Opus Clip to Vidulk

  1. Download any clips you want to keep from Opus Clip first.
  2. Sign in at https://www.vidulk.com/app/login with Apple or Google, or install the iPhone or Android app and use the same account.
  3. Paste the same YouTube link you used in Opus Clip, or upload the file.
  4. Let the AI pick the moments or set clip lengths yourself, then adjust captions, layout, hook title and music in the editor.

Vidulk works on iPhone, Android and the web with one account.
