How to upload a video or audio file to Vidulk for clipping
Open Import and choose Video or Audio, pick the file, choose the spoken language and press Start Processing. Videos and audio up to 10 hours long are accepted, and uploading the file is more reliable than pasting a link.
Applies to: iPhone and Android app, Web app. Updated October 14, 2026.
Steps
- On Home, press Import Media.
- Under Choose your source, pick Video or Audio. On the phone, Video opens your photo library and Audio opens your files.
- Pick the file, then choose the Video Language.
- Press Start Processing. On the web, keep the tab open until the upload reaches 100%. After that, processing runs on our servers and you can close the tab.
Files and limits
- Any video or audio file works, for example MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV, MP3, WAV, M4A or AAC.
- The longest video Vidulk accepts is 10 hours. A longer one shows a message asking you to trim it or pick a shorter one.
- The phone app has no in-app camera recording. Record with your camera app first, then import the video.
Audio-only files
A podcast or other audio file still makes video clips. In the editor's Audio tab, choose what fills the frame: an image slideshow, a video background or stock footage.
Only part of the video
Turn off AI Recommended to set clip lengths yourself. With a file picked, you can also limit the search to part of the video (on the web: Only look at part of the video).
