How to add a hook title, progress bar, logo or music to a clip

The Overlays tab adds a hook title over the start of the clip, a progress bar and a logo or watermark. The Audio tab adds your own music track, which can lower automatically while someone is talking.

Applies to: iPhone and Android app, Web app. Updated October 14, 2026.

Hook title

In Overlays, turn on Show hook card (web) or use Hook Title (phone). Type a headline, or leave it empty on the web to use the AI's hook. Pick a look, a position, and how long it shows, up to Whole clip. The web looks are Bold, Highlight, Outline, Boxed and Minimal.

Progress bar

In Overlays, turn on the progress bar, a thin bar that fills as the clip plays. Choose its colour and put it at the Top or Bottom. The web also sets its thickness.

Logo or watermark

In Overlays, press Add a logo or watermark. On the web use a PNG, JPG or WebP up to 2 MB; on the phone pick it from your photo library. Set its size and opacity, and on the web its corner. It sits above the captions.

Background music

In Audio, press Add music from your files. On the web use an MP3, M4A, AAC or WAV up to 30 MB; it loops under the clip. Set the music volume and turn on Lower under speech to dip it while someone talks. Vidulk has no built-in music library, so use tracks you have the rights to.

A logo or track added on the phone stays on that phone. Upload it on the web too if you export there.
